Reading Success Plus Employment

As Reading Success Plus continues to grow, we are looking for qualified applicants to add to our team.  Our diverse group of tutors has a wide range of backgrounds, experience, and ages. We have tutors who have different career paths and experiences which creates a great working environment. If you have a heart for helping kids to grow and thrive academically, this will be a rewarding job for you. Some of the benefits of joining our team are as follows:

  • In-person one-on-one tutoring at our offices, online, or at school
  • Paid Training
  • Part-time schedule
  • Flexible vacation time
  • Substitute policy (if you need one or if you would like to be one)

The most important benefit you will experience is realizing the difference you have made in a student’s life. After completing our tutoring program, students that had initially been struggling will be more confident and successful in school. Their self-esteem will grow, and their test scores will go up. This is rewarding for students and tutors alike. Students are finally learning in a new way that is easier for them, and tutors experience a sense of accomplishment and pride in their students. Also, both Anne and Lawrence are always willing to help in any situation that you might encounter. While not an easy job, the rewards far outweigh the challenges.

Testimonials

Dawn

We are so privileged to share with our students the work of the many knowledgeable developers of our programs. When they improve and begin to show signs of successful readers, writers, and math students, they share with us the joy that comes with newfound confidence in their abilities.

Beverly Gingrich

Working at Reading Success Plus is very fulfilling. Each team member brings a piece of themself along with their many talents to help these students learn to read. It’s truly amazing to see the difference when they ‘get it’ and gain the confidence. I wish there was someplace like this when my child was young and struggling with learning to read.

Wendy

Working at RSP as a tutor has been and continues to be a rewarding experience. As we work with our students, they begin to trust us and “buy in” to this new way of learning that is less confusing and frustrating for them. We often experience peaks and valleys in our tutoring, and discovering ways to

get through the lows and celebrate the highs with our students is gratifying for all. When there’s an inevitable “breakthrough” in their learning, the joy is shared by both student and tutor. We are truly changing lives!

Patti

Working for RSP has given me the ability to use my Orton-Gillingham training and years of experience to share my knowledge with others. Not only do I continue to work with students and their families, but I have the privilege of training others to join the fight against illiteracy. This fulfills my dream of helping more people learn to crack the reading code.

Tom

After retirement, I wanted to do something that was different, satisfying, and impactful. Tutoring for Reading Success Plus is all of that.

Jackie

You can do anything as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus, and the support.
