Reading Success Plus
Reading Success Plus was founded to support students who struggle in traditional learning environments and need instruction that works differently.
Our story began with a parent’s determination to understand why a bright, capable child could not learn to read the way others did. After years of searching for answers, the root cause was identified as dyslexia. With the right instruction, progress followed. Confidence returned. Learning became possible.
That experience shaped the foundation of Reading Success Plus.
Our Story
Reading Success Plus was created to provide families with clear answers, effective instruction, and real hope. We understand how discouraging it can feel when effort does not lead to progress, and when students begin to believe they are not capable.
We have been there. We know the questions parents ask, the frustration students feel, and the urgency to find solutions that truly work.
Our mission is to help struggling learners reach their full potential by teaching them in ways that match how they learn.
Meet The Founders
Our Tutors
specifically to support struggling and dyslexic learners.
Our team receives specialized training in programs and instructional approaches that address foundational learning skills, including:
- Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS)
- Visualizing and Verbalizing
- Barton Reading and Spelling System
- Orton-Gillingham–based math instruction
Tutors are trained, observed, and supervised to ensure instruction is consistent, effective, and responsive to each student’s needs.
Our Approach
We believe learning challenges are not a reflection of intelligence or effort. They are often the result of instruction that does not match how a student processes information.
Our approach focuses on:
- Identifying specific skill gaps
- Teaching explicitly and systematically
- Reinforcing understanding through repetition and practice
